WaveX is at the nexis of civilian and defence capability - our background is engineering oil and gas infrastructure, but as we further develop our power platform, we are realising there is significant cross-over with defence capability..

Capabilities

Autonomous power supply in strategic and remote marine locations. Power platforms with a 25yr design life, that never need refuelling. Launchpad for drones and AUV’s to support range extension via remote recharging for surveillance and navigation. AI edge compute for fringe command and control.

Discriminators

We use a triple redundant power system with wave energy firmed by solar and battery, to produce MW of power when most other products are focussed on kW. We have no underwater moving parts which means very low O&M requirements. We have no foundations so the system is easily relocatable as requirements evolve. Our system dovetails into the existing oil and gas supply chain, and is manufacturable using standard shipbuilding techniques, including at the AMC in Henderson.
