Overview
IndigiBuilt is a 100% Indigenous-owned construction contractor focused on supporting the Department of Defence, Defence primes and Estate Works Program delivery partners across Western Australia and remote Australia.
Our Defence strategy is centred on the delivery of civil construction, building, structural concrete, remediation, asset maintenance and enabling infrastructure, water and waste systems within operational Defence environments.
IndigiBuilt operates a high self-performance model supported by company owned plant and equipment, a skilled workforce and an experienced construction management team. IndigiBuilt benefits from greater control over mobilisation, safety, quality, program and project interfaces.
IndigiBuilt is also investing in the governance, security and management systems required for sustained Defence participation, including progression toward DISP membership and strengthened Defence-specific compliance capability.
Our objective is to become a long-term Indigenous construction partner capable of delivering repeatable Defence infrastructure works across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia.
Capabilities
IndigiBuilt delivers civil, building and infrastructure works supporting Defence estate, Estate Works Program and Defence prime contractor requirements across Western Australia and remote Australia.
Our core capabilities include structural concrete and foundations; building construction and refurbishment; water and wastewater infrastructure; civil construction and earthworks; roads and pavements; drainage and culverts; fuel infrastructure and contaminated-site works; demolition and remediation; electrical civil and enabling works; and ongoing asset maintenance.
Our civil capability extends across road and pavement upgrades, access roads, hardstands, shoulder works, trenching, underground services, drainage and associated infrastructure. Complementary concrete, building and remediation capabilities allow IndigiBuilt to deliver multiple work packages through a single contractor, reducing interfaces and simplifying project coordination.
IndigiBuilt operates a high self-performance delivery model supported by company-owned plant and equipment, experienced project teams and established regional and remote mobilisation capability. This provides greater control over safety, quality, cost, scheduling, logistics and delivery.
Our capability is well suited to operational Defence bases, training areas, regional facilities and remote Defence locations where disciplined planning, stakeholder coordination, controlled site access and continuity of operations are critical to successful project delivery.

Our regional and remote delivery capability is a key strength, particularly for Defence bases, training areas and infrastructure where mobilisation, logistics, workforce availability and supply-chain coordination can materially affect project outcomes. Our delivery approach is structured around controlled access, stakeholder coordination, safety, security awareness and continuity of Defence operations.
As a 100% Indigenous-owned business, IndigiBuilt also supports Defence Indigenous procurement objectives while creating meaningful opportunities for Indigenous businesses, local suppliers and regional communities. The business is continuing to invest in Defence-specific governance, security and compliance capability, including progression toward DISP membership, as part of its long-term commitment to the Australian Defence sector.
