Overview

Nucleus Evolution was founded in Perth by Mick Lee and Andrea Michell to give organisations an embedded learning and development function they could not build in-house. Mick served in the Australian Army with the Royal Australian Infantry Corps before moving into federal law enforcement, where he developed introductory, strategic and operational intelligence training in Australia and overseas. That background shaped how we work. We understand command structures, operational tempo and what it takes to train people for high-consequence roles.

Over 25 years of L&D experience now sits behind the company. We have delivered for high-reliability industries including mining and banking, with clients such as Rio Tinto, BHP and CBA. We bring the same rigour to Defence. Our clients get transparent project management and direct access to their instructional designer, with no layers in between.

We are a Western Australian, veteran-led business. We are building our Defence presence through partnerships, tenders and industry events, with a focus on practical training that fits the way Defence teams actually operate

Nucleus Evolution provides full suite training for Defence. We cover training needs analysis, instructional design, eLearning, blended programs, facilitated workshops, VR and app-based practice, and evaluation. Our founding director is an Australian Army veteran who has also developed intelligence training in Australia and overseas, so we design for operational reality.

Secure deployment. Our training deploys into your secure environment. SCORM packages load into your LMS and web apps go to your IT team for internal hosting. We never hold or host your data.

Human performance. Our proprietary Calm, Safe, Excellence program builds performance under pressure for high-consequence roles.

We are bidding for the Defence Land Capability Professional Development Program, offering three DCS-contextualised courses: Business Acumen, Communicating Effectively, and Introduction to Project and Program Management.
