Chalfont Consulting

Large Enterprise

Overview

Founded in 2018, Chalfont Consulting was established to meet the demand for high-calibre technical design and digital delivery that enhances human experience and ensures sustainability. While we began as Canberra locals with deep roots in the Defence sector, we have expanded our footprint to include a strategic base in Western Australia. Today, we provide critical support to Defence, industry, and all three tiers of Government, partnering with over 25 Government departments nationwide.

Our delivery is backed by the global reach of our parent company, Randstad. This relationship allows us to offer the scalability and long-term stability required for multi-year capability development. We operate with a simple, accountable premise: good humans, great work. This ethos ensures that we don’t just fill gaps, but leave a lasting positive impact on every project we undertake.

Chalfont is a proven provider across key procurement frameworks. We deliver professional services and technical expertise in strict alignment with the requirements of the Defence Support Services (DSS), Management Advisory Services (MAS), and ICT Provider Arrangement (ICTPA) panels. By navigating these complex frameworks, we ensure our clients receive streamlined, compliant, and highly specialised solutions.

Our team is defined by technical proficiency and a rigorous approach to assurance. We understand the evolving needs of the Australian landscape and possess the expertise to deliver on similar, high-stakes requirements. Whether supporting sovereign defence capability or digital transformation for local councils, Chalfont is the trusted partner for consistent, high-quality delivery. We combine the agility of a boutique consultancy with the workforce power of a global leader, making us uniquely positioned to support the most demanding requirements of the Australian public and private sectors.

Capabilities

Chalfont Consulting delivers high-impact professional services through the DSS and ICTPA panels, specialising in scalable, secure, and mission-ready technical solutions. Our expertise is grounded in deep familiarity with the Protected and Secret domains, where we provide multi-disciplinary teams across Project Management, Change Management, Cyber, and Business Analysis. We have a proven track record of delivering at scale for key portfolios, including CASG, DDG (formerly CIOG), and JCG. Notable recent example includes:

  1. At CASG’s Joint Systems Division LC4SPO we deployed multi-disciplinary personnel to navigate complex information security and governance requirements. By aligning our skills-based ““Chapter”” structure directly with Defence’s enterprise architecture (such as SAP, Objective, and ServiceNow), we eliminate onboarding friction, ensuring our experts hit the ground running to support digital modernisation and long-term capability.

  2. Across critical DDG portfolios we ensure complex projects remain on track and mission-ready. Our impact is best demonstrated through our integrated support model. In one recent engagement, we delivered Project Management for Project Indigo with advanced Scheduling for the Hornet PMO. By utilising ASDEFCON standards, our team synchronised technical requirements with rigorous timelines. Simultaneously, our Business Analysts on Project Janus translated complex user needs into actionable data, while our Change Management leads facilitated the transition to ServiceNow for CIPM5. This multi-disciplinary approach, combining COSPO oversight with dedicated Chapter Resources, ensured all project streams remained aligned. The result was a cohesive delivery that reduced onboarding overheads and met every strategic milestone, proving that our technical proficiency is the key to successful Defence project outcomes.
