Overview

Vitr Pathways is a veteran-owned leadership and change consultancy founded in 2024, with partners in Perth and Melbourne.

Our defence work focuses on the people side of growth and change. We work with defence industry firms, the programmes that support them and the government agencies that serve the sector. Recent clients include a university-led defence industry programme, government departments and defence technology companies.

We do our best work where change gets complicated: when a firm grows faster than its systems, when new technology is introduced to a team already at capacity, or when scaling becomes more challenging than expected. We start by understanding the people involved: what they are working with, what they stand to lose and what they need from their leaders. From there we help leaders sequence the change, bring their teams with them, and build the leadership depth, hiring discipline and structure a larger business needs.

Capabilities

Change management: we plan and lead change in growing firms, including new AI-enabled systems, restructures and rapid scaling, using our ICAP methodology (Initiate, Prepare, Execute).

Leadership development: one-on-one coaching for executives and managers, and leadership workshops, including a Technical Leadership Course for engineers and specialists stepping into leadership roles.

Advisory: an experienced sounding board for executives and boards on strategy, key hires and major decisions.

Hiring and culture: our CLEAR hiring framework and culture workshops help firms hire for fit and rebuild teams.
