Overview

RCK Contracting has supported Defence industry clients for over 10 years, mainly in the Northern Territory where he formerly lived during that time. Tasked with the management of staff and project delivery, Rodney has seen many large scale projects through their lifecycle and has been part of many successes along the way. Rodney has worked on projects including but not limited to data center construction, MCC & PDC Installations, BMS upgrades, Access Control Systems, Fibre Optic Terminations and many more. Rodneys engagement with Defence contractors and stakeholders has seen him grow his skills and support the industry in ways that have benefited both parties.

Capabilities

Being an electrical contractor gives me the autonomy to make decisions and refine processes that I undertake in my scope of works. I have the authority to sign off on my electrical installations and make sure they are compliant before handover. I have extensive experience in Defence infrastructure upgrades, with over 10 years servicing the industry. I have completed Fiber Optical terminations which are a time consuming and technical task and I have also recently completed my Electrical Instrumentation certification, which goes hand in hand with a lot of the programming and automation projects I have worked on and managed. I have sound electrical experience and troubleshooting skills, which gives my customers and co-contractors confidence in my ability and attention to detail. Majority of my works recently have been on Defence infrastructure that has either been part of a planned upgrade, or a new build to service the facility. I have gained the trust and respect of my clients, stakeholders, and government representatives purely on the quality of work I have produced and the way in which I conduct myself. I have many more capabilities that would be an asset to the Defence Industry within WA.
